Winner of the Technology Transfer Award 2025

The Institute for Polymer Materials and Plastics Engineering at Clausthal University of Technology and Marleaux BassGuitars are jointly delighted about being awarded the Technology Transfer Prize 2025. Their successful development and application of the innovative VARI process using natural fiber textiles, demonstrated with the Spock Bass, was recognized.

We are excited to welcome Ralf Gauck to our Marleaux Artist Family. He is one of the most renowned bassists in Europe. When he steps onto the stage and captivates the audience with his bass, it’s easy to forget that there is “only” a musician with four strings performing.
600 year old wood – special edition “Antique Wood” Series III

In collaboration with the Thomann music store, we are continuing the successful “Antique Wood” bass series. In this third series we use approximately 600 year old oak wood that comes from a German monastery.

We are breaking new ground in several ways with our breathtaking new bass model! The most striking feature of the Marleaux SPOCK: The archtop body of the electric bass, which is 100% made in Germany, consists of a “Marleaux Logic Mesh” top. This light-transparent material, unique and never used before in bass construction, has enormous strength. And most importantly: the material sounds sensational!
